How do I save fuel with amsoil? Already I know that it costs about the same as other synthtix, can it really last longer and save on fuel a whole year?

It reduces fuel consumption by reducing friction between the internal parts of the engine.
AMSOIL actually costs less that other synthetics because you can use it for a much longer period, when you calculate the cost, it actually costs less than petroleum oil!

I drive a 2004 GMC Canyon Crew Cab. Engine just getting properly broken in 18,000 + miles. I was getting about 300 miles to the tank. 300 / 16.438 = 18.25 mpg or 285.73 a month | $3428.84 a year. Last fill up $47.00 @ $2.859 329.8 /16.438 gal = 20.06 mpg or 259.91 a month | $3119.02 a year. (I can get about 360 miles to the tank. [running on fumes]) That is a differance of $309.82. The Money I saved at the pump in a year purchased my oil and filters. 2 Gals of oil and 2 filter’s a years worth. Retails at about $93.08. $309.82 – $93.08 = $216.74 in my pocket. I'm not saying that you will get the results I have or that it will happen over night but, If you switch to amsoil your car could go from 18.25 to 19.16 mpg, you'll save $162 per year. Even at this you save $68.92 after the oil. The gas savings buy's your oil change. Beside Mobil one's new 10W30; Mobil 1® Extended Performance (15,000 miles) Synthetic; 32 oz. Sells for $6.19 well for 16 cents more Amsoil will give you an added 10,000 miles and protect your engine better. See www.amsoil.com/storefront/atm.aspxwww.goodoil4u.com/MPG.htmlGary Mintz
