Can't beat the convenience. I deeply enjoy not having to pay a quick lube every 3 months for an oil change, and then wonder if they did it right. Plus, not to mention the fact that my SUV shifted gears incredibly hard until it was switched over to Amsoil automatic transmission fluid. I know for a fact the mileage increased from 11 miles per gallon to 16, (sometimes 16.8 or more) since I have mpg indicator. This is one specialty product that does save money/time/work and prevents early engine death. Mine has over 200000 miles. Get the preferred customer and buy with your quick lube money like I did. If you don't know how to install it, ask your dealer. Whew, I was dying to tell somebody my good news!

I found this helpful. By the way, could somebody tell me what's with the new filters? How do they compare to the other Amsoil filters? Has anybody used one yet? Sorry if this isn't in the right spot.

I assume you are talking about the new Ea air filters. They are a completely new filter that uses Donaldson's Nanotechnology. They filter better and provide better air flow than any other filter out there, including oiled gauze, or foam. They will end up replacing the dual foam filters. It is the same technology that the army uses in the M1 Abrams tanks! The new filters are good for 4 years/100,000 miles. The purchase price is normally just a bit more than paper filters, so when you take into account the change interval and the added protection and better flow, they cost a lot less!
I have not used one yet, but am putting some on my next order! Will keep you posted.
Post wherever you like, we'll find it!
